Generally they’re just ‘4-4-0s’, or denoted by their classes. For example LNER D16s were ‘Claud Hamiltons’, and D34 were ‘Glens’.

I’ve wanted to do this for a number of years now, but keep missing out for whatever reason. So I’ve decided to do it now. It’s a little more sombre than the cheerful parcels DPU I added last week, but I feel this is one of the most important Christmas stories, one that needs to be remembered.
